Esto es lo que ha dicho:
Hi everyone, just thought I'd check in and let you know what's been going on recently - it's been a busy, busy time! But I've been having loads of fun.
I've been doing radio promotion for the past couple of weeks. Before that I was in Australia and while I was there my sister had a baby. He's called Rufus he's absolutely gorgeous. I got to meet him when he was three days old and catch up with my family, so I was really happy. Then I came back to the UK and we hit the road. I've been all over England, went to Scotland, and then yesterday we did Wales and Bristol. Now I'm back in London and am pretty tired!
I also went to the GQ Awards, which was fantastic. I had a really good time and got to chat to Lily Allen about her guest appearance on Neighbours, which was good fun. She said she really enjoyed it. I also said hello to Louise Redknapp, who's a mate of mine, and several other people who I hadn't seen in a long time.
I'm playing at Heaven in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait! It's going to be brilliant. I've never played there before, but I'm really excited. I go into rehearsals on Tuesday. I don't know what I'm going to wear yet, but it's got to be something pretty special for Heaven, right? I'll put my thinking cap on.
I played at the V Festival last month, which was brilliant, although there were a few technical problems on the Saturday where the audience couldn't hear me and I had to go off and wait for them to get the sound back on, but everyone was cheering, it was great. I got chance to hang out on the second night after I came off stage. I had loads of interviews all day and then I ended up in the V bar, and I watched Snow Patrol at the end, who did a fantastic job. I haven't had chance to go to any other festivals this year though, and I was gutted to miss Reading. I was out of the country, but I would have loved to see Kings of Leon play live.
In between all the busy-ness I've been getting really excited about the new single Want. As you might know, I wrote it with Chris Martin, who's just so creative. He's got so many ideas coming through, it's hard to keep up with him really! We'd have three or four songs on the go at a time. Want was a track that was kind of Donna Summer disco-esque, but I wasn't quite sure about the chorus, so I asked Chris to help me fix it. We added a new keyboard and string part, which made the song a bit darker and gave more attitude, so the whole concept of the song changed from a sweet love song to a break-up song.
Over the next couple of weeks I'll be doing more promo. I've got interviews all this week, then I'm off to Italy next week doing some TV shows. After that I'll be back to London for rehearsals and more promo. I've just had two days off and I really wanted to work out and catch up with friends, but I was so exhausted that I slept all day Sunday and had a really lazy day on Monday as well. You have to be really careful with your health when you have this kind of schedule. I'm obsessed with those vitamin C sachets you can get - I have about three a day at the moment! I'm convinced that helps, because I haven't had any colds for ages. Touch wood!
Lastly, I wanted to ask you all a question... do you think I should sign up to Twitter? My manager has been doing it so far, I haven't done it yet. I'm apprehensive! Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.
Love to you all
