"Flirting" track #11 of "Come to Life" but just in Japan.

A new song is joining the other ten that will shape "Come to Life" but this one will only be available in the Japanese edition that has its release scheduled for October the 7th.

In the past "Left of the Middle", "White Lilies Island" and "Glorious: The Singles 97-07" also contained bonus tracks for its Japanese publication. Among these we can find "Frightened Child", "Diving at the deep end", "Shikaiya" or "That girl".

For this new album "Flirting" is the new song that will entitle a new track just in Japan whilst in other territories this song will be available as a b-side included in any upcoming single for "Come to Life".

As for singles "Want" will only include mixes of the same song as b-sides and by these means "Flirting" will appear in the second single of this new album. This indicates that the chosen song to be the second single will be "My God" as Natalie Imbruglia lately stated in an Italian interview for a radio station.

"Come to Life" pushed back in the UK till February of 2010.

When everything seemed ready for the release of "Come to life" british fans will have to wait longer, no other than 4 months to see the album in the stores.

This has been confirmed by Natalie Imbruglia´s press contact who has upheld that it will be released February 1st of 2010. This will just alter the UK whereas in Europe things will run as they were expected October 5th aside from Italy where it will be available October 2nd.

Having into account all the effort mounted in the UK to broadcast the album, we have to think that there must be a good intention that is beyond our scope that is putting a stop to "Come to Life" put on the British market and no problem to the rest of Europe.

We cannot tell in advance the commercial outcomes that this decision will have and just maybe the potential success that the album could have achieved are no longer that far-reaching. We have to watch the response of the fans meeting Natalie Imbruglia´s upcoming concert in the UK that will take place in London next October 1st.

"Want" will include a set of mixes.

Next September 28th "Want" single will be released along with some mixes.
It is expected (as we have previously witnessed) to find different versions of the single each with a different set of songs. At the moment we hold the name of the first songs contained in the main single and its cover.

1. Want (Single version)
2. Want (Fraser T Smith Remix)
3. Want (Blunt Laser Remix)

What is more it has also been announced that there will be mixes carried out by Shapeshifters, Blunt Laser and Buzz Junkies.

A tangible single might be bought just in the U.K. or on the net. You can purchase this single as a pre-buy through iTunes only on the U.K.

"Want" has its video and "Come to Life" presumably cover.

For the last days we can catch Natalie Imbruglia's new single and now that it has a theme it is time to give it a proper shape. The video was shot August 13th and it was recorded in London .

As for this Mike Baldwin has been its director ("Wild About it" was the first) and just a couple of weeks ago took good care of "the Girl and the Robot" from Röyksopp.

The only new we can bring you this time is a presumably cover of the upcoming album. Just below these lines we might find the cover for "Come to Life". This image is a postcard that was available on her last gigs in England.

New album out in the United Kingdom on October 5th.

Natalie Imbruglia is set to return to the charts with her highly anticipated new studio album ‘Come To Life’ released on Island Records on October 5th in the UK and Oct 12th in Europe. It will be preceded by the single ‘Want’ on September 28th.

The album was produced by Ben Hillier (Blur, Elbow, Depeche Mode), and features three writing collaborations with Coldplay including the first single ‘Want’, which Natalie co-wrote with Chris Martin. One of the tracks is produced by Brian Eno.

Four years after her last studio album “Counting Down The Days” debuted at No 1 in the UK, Natalie’s total album sales now amount to 8 million worldwide, whilst her single sales total over 2 million.

“Come To Life”, though, charts an entirely new path for this vastly under-rated artist.  This remarkable record combines dark, driving beats and gorgeously wistful ballads into a totally cohesive whole.

The full tracklisting for the album is:

- My God
- Lukas
- Fun
- Twenty
- Scars
- Want
- WYUT
- Cameo
- All The Roses
- Wild About It

First clip from the upcoming "Come to life" warming up the engine.

Not only we ignore the name of the song that will precede as the new single for Natalie Imbruglia´s new album but also any releasing dates but at least we know that the arrangements for the shooting of clip are ready.

The recording of the clip could have a fixed date which might be July 23rd. What´s more from the site Dancerspro, place that get pro-dancers profiles from all over the world together requests hoofers aged 18 to 50 for the new videoclip of Natalie Imbruglia that will be shot in London.

All this info and still missing official announcements, make us believe that the releasing for "Come to Life" could take place between September and October and the including for the first time dancers is an obvious innovation confirming her new style.

During July and first fortnight of August Natalie Imbruglia will perform   3 or 4 gigs in the United Kingdom to present her new songs before she stages at the V Festival and at the Rock Oz`Arènes that will take place during the second fortnight of August.

Natalie Imbruglia's Torn most played song on Oz radio.

Eleven years after its release, Natalie Imbruglia's hit track Torn still reigns the airwaves and is the most played song on Australian radio.

According to the data put together by the Australian Performing Rights Association, the pop singer's track topped the 20 most-played songs on Australian radio since 1990.

Her international hit ran more than 300,500 times since its release in 1998 and was played at an average of 75 times a day, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Guitarist Carlos Santana's hit 1999 duet with Matchbox 20's Rob Thomas, Smooth bagged the second spot with 275,196 plays.

The Goo Goo Dolls' 1998 power ballad, Iris, came in third in the list on 270,153.

Just three tracks from this millennium featured in the list, namely, Train's 2001 hit Drops Of Jupiter, Alex Lloyd's 2001 single Amazing and Counting Crows 2002 cover of Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi.

Imbruglia enlists ex for new album.

Aussie songstress Natalie Imbruglia has enlisted some of the biggest names in music, including her ex-husband Daniel Johns and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, for her new album. Imbruglia is set to release her fourth studio album, Come To Life, later this year featuring a diverse collection of pop, electro and dance influenced songs. Ben Hillier, who has worked with Blur, Doves and Depeche Mode, has produced the album, with Johns and Martin among the songwriting credits.

“I’ve got some Chris Martin songs that have come in at the last minute (which are) really cool,” Imbruglia says.

“So that’s been really exciting. I’m a very lucky girl.”

Imbruglia says her ex-husband has had a lot of creative input on the record. “He did some beautiful work on there actually.

“In fact one of the parts he wrote in one of the songs is my favourite two notes on the whole album.
“It sounds really weird but they run through the whole song, and it makes the whole song for me. (He’s a) very clever boy.”

While she’s happy to talk about their professional collaboration, Imbruglia refuses to comment on their relationship or rumours she’s dating Prince Harry.

“I’m not going to talk - it’s kind of off-limits,” she says.
Imbruglia has also scotched reports she was planning to hold a bushfire benefit concert with Kylie and Dannii Minogue, saying she’s been misquoted.

Come To Life is due out in May in the UK, with an Australian release date yet to be announced.
